1. Keep two eyes on cash, know what affect cash and manage it
2. Prepare and submit payroll when due
3. Know the floor-plan guidelines and stay within them
4. Establish daily deadlines for support staff related to the processing of daily work
5. Pay and submit all tax related files before the due date
6. Submit 8300’s by the due date
7. Prepare reconciliations and follow through, research and resolve unusual items
8. Review work in progress and open repair orders
9. Get to know the service and parts department
10. Assign general journal vouch numbers and review general journal postings
11. Know the manufacturer requirements
12. Communicate –keep the lines open
13. Provide support
14. Be available and present
15. Sign checks
